Gula´s Pizzaria – Brazil – Waiter – 2012 to 2016
Still very young and not being able to work full time due to the university I´ve got this job as a waiter in a pizzeria/ice cream shop, it was of a big importance for me at that point in life (apart from the financial need), I could develop myself towards being a good worker, learning about customer care, communication and behavior working in a team, despite being only 17 years old, I could adapt and do the required tasks greatly in most of the times, and when this was not the case, a lesson was learned. Afterward, in the same restaurant, I could get an experience on the sales field, going out to sell the homemade ice creams, this taught me some different approaches when dealing with people and that persistence is necessary to thrive. From this position, I could earn some basic working principles that I apply wherever I work, such as responsibility, integrity, and determination to do the required job.
