Anderson Frohlich was employed by Mt Sommerset Py Ltd from 29/08/2016 until 22/08/2017 as an Australian Agriculture Exchange Program trainee at our Lakeland properties. Red Valley Farms is one of the largest banana growers in Australia, producing the highest quality of bananas and employing up to 120 people at any one time.
During this time Anderson Frohlich worked in the 600 acres banana farm, where he was engaged in bell injecting and general farm work. Anderson Frohlich was engaged in the Bell Injecting team which is the job responsible for injecting a mixture into the bell of the banana bunch to control thrips. This job requires skills such as a good eye and a medium level of fitness as it is part of the job to walk all day long. Anderson proved to be very reliable, listened to instructions well, had good communication skills, and was very capable of training and supporting the others in his team.
